Men's Artistic
The sport requires all around fitness through strength, mobility, endurance, flexibility, body control and co-ordination. Routines are performed on six pieces of apparatus: floor, pommel horse, rings, vault, parallel bars, and high bar.
Fromeside is proud to have a large squad of very talented male gymnasts. This year we have the U16 British Parallel Bar Champion James , the South West Regional U16's Champion Ekraj, Euan who has been given a place on the Welsh U14's Junior squad, and several members who compete in the Gloucester and South West squads.

British Championships 2018 Wow...what an amazing experience for our male gymnasts who competed in the British Championships at the Echo Arena in Liverpool this weekend. Well don to Cam, James, Ekraj, Euan and Robert Cameron - Under 18 AA -12th/31, Floor 6th James – Under 16 AA - 17th/43, Pommel - 12th Ekraj – Under AA 13 - 53rd/80, Pbars - 18th Euan – Under 12 AA – 53rd/80, Pommel - 17th Robert – Seniors Loughborough Students What an honour and a privilege to be on the floor with Robert Blackman at the British Championships with the top male and female gymnasts in GB this weekend in Liverpool. Karen coached Robert from the age of three through preschool, rec and into the men’s program at the age of 5 years old. Here we are 25 years on…..and a few more. |

Men's London Open Championship Series 2017 Congratulations to Fromeside Gymnastics Club gymnasts James Puddy, Cameron Sinden and Brad Lewis who all competed this weekend in the Men's London Open Championship Series 2017. James Puddy brought home Silver on floor and came 7th overall in the Max Whitlock Trophy (formally the Clayton Bolt Under 14's). Brad Lewis also competed in this competition performing well in his first National Voluntary competition on floor and vault. Cameron Sinden competing in the Peter Moore Trophy ( formally the Loveday Competition, Under 18's) competition came 13th out of 46 gymnasts. |

Southwest Elite and Club Grade Qualification,

The boys competed in a variety of gymnastics disciplines including pommel, parallel bars, vault, rings, floor and high bar. The results reflected long hours of preparation by the boys and fantastic coaching from Head Coach Karen Brewer and Assistant Coach Robbie Richards. The competition results are as follows: Under Age - George Collins-Beckett- Bronze, Oliver Glanville – 5th, Jack McManus – 11th. Level 2 – Thomas Payne – 5th, Finley Pauling – 8th, Haydn Humphreys – 9th. Level 3 – Ishu Ingale – 7th. Level 4 – Brad Lewis -Silver, Luke Baxter – 4th. Level 6 – Tom Kingdom –Bronze. Elite Level 4 – James Puddy – Bronze and Elite Level 5 – Tom Saunders –Silver.

to Cameron Sinden winning two medals at the Saninsburys School Games 2015 Cameron was one of six boys competing for team Wales in the National School Games in Manchester over September 4-6, 2015. The top six boys aged 12-19 are selected for England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland to compete in this yearly competition for up and coming sports stars. Cameron won an individual Silver medal on the Parallel Bars and helped Wales to win a team Bronze over all. The club is very proud of Cameron, not only for his medal achievements, but for his ability to help his fellow gymnasts perfect their moves and also for the level of enthusiasm for the sport that he has brought to our club.
